I graduated from the University of Portsmouth last year having got a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Film Production and am now looking for work in the film industry. I have had experience both working in the film industry and within the retail and so am socially competent with all sorts of customers and clients. Why Should We Hire You?

I have had experience in the industry already has been a Runner and Camera Operator for Sky Sports Studios and Beacon Productions for work experience whilst at University. I have since had more work in the industry having been involved with Beacon Productions again to shoot a charity live stream as well as Alpha Live Limited where I have shot various motorsport events. This included the British Kart Championships, BRSCC / TCR at Silverstone and the Daniel Ricciardo Series. I have had some experience editing through my University course. I have been trained to us Avid Media Composer as well as Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Davinci Resolve. I edited together a couple of individual films including narration, sound effects and musical accompaniment.

Description

I have shot various motorsport events in a high-intensity setting. The events include the British Rental Kart Championships, British Kart Championships, BRSCC / TCR at Silverstone and the Daniel Ricciardo Series. During the events, I had to operate and transport the camera equipment to ensure I got the shots the director required. I was, therefore, involved both shooting the vehicles in the race (go-karts, touring cars) as well as being the cameraman during the interviews with the drivers and track officials.

Description

One of two main camera operators tasked with shooting the semi-finals and final of a game show. I also set up and dismantled equipment and aspects of the set (props, lighting). I also acted as a camera operator in a charity Livestream where we raised money for the Minstead Trust. I set up the cameras and film the numerous sections of the live stream in a multi-camera studio setting.
